Dreamstone 39: All the Knowne World’s a Stage
April 20-22, 2018
Camp Daniel Morgan at Hard Labor Creek State Park,
Knox Chapel Road, Rutledge, GA 30663
Join us as we recreate Shakespeare’s era and the eras featured in his famous plays! We will be offering A&S classes, heavy and rapier fighting, dancing, and A&S competitions, including a bardic challenge and the Baroness’ Brewing Competition.
In addition to the Dreamstone Tourney (heavy) and Baron’s Prize (heavy and rapier) contests, we will be hosting a Friday night tourney called “Shakespeare Slam.” This will have a combat and an A&S component. Fighters are required to recite an insult either written by Shakespeare or Shakespearian in nature to their opponent. There will be a winner for the best insult and the best fighter. More.
The site opens on Friday, April 20 at 5 p.m. and closes Sunday, April 22 at 10 a.m.
