Getting to Baronial Meetings
Via Public Transit
- Take MARTA train to Decatur station (East Line).
- Take N. McDonnough Street or Church Street (depending on which exit of MARTA you come out of) SOUTH to Trinity Place/West Trinity Place. Turn right and head West on Trinity until you reach Swanton Way/Electric Avenue. Cross Swanton Way/Electric Avenue and then immediately cross to the opposite side of West Trinity Place. Beacon Hill Arts Center is on the Southwest corner of West Trinity Place and Electric Avenue. The entrance to the facility is at the corner of the building, where the building's dedicated lot connects (via walkway) to the adjacent police department lot (we are allowed to use both lots).
From the North East
- Take your best route to US-78W (Stone Mountain Freeway) / GA-410W toward ATLANTA. Once inside the perimeter, get in the LEFT lane.
- Turn LEFT (South) onto Church Street. This is at the third traffic signal. There are two lanes in the turn bay. You will now be headed into Decatur. You will cross West Ponce de Leon and pass the MARTA station on your right.
- Take the next RIGHT onto (West) Trinity Place, heading West.
- Continue on West Trinity Place to Electric Avenue.
- The meeting site is in the Beacon Hill Arts Center, on the Southwest corner of West Trinity Place and Swanton Way/Electric Avenue. Parking lots may be found both behind and beside the Arts Center building. The entrance to the facility is at the corner of the building, where the building's dedicated lot connects (via walkway) to the adjacent police department lot (we are allowed to use both lots).
From the North and North West
- Take your best route to I-75/85S.
- Take the North Avenue Exit, and go LEFT at the end of the ramp.
- Turn LEFT at the 3rd traffic signal onto Peachtree Street.
- Go one block and turn RIGHT onto Ponce de Leon Avenue.
- The road will have several fairly sharp turns and then it will go under a bridge. Just after the bridge, there is a traffic signal. Bear right onto West Ponce de Leon at this signal.
- Follow West Ponce de Leon into Decatur.
- Turn RIGHT onto West Trinity Place.
- After you pass Atlanta Avenue, you've reached the block containing the Beacon Hill Arts Center, which will be on your right. Start looking for the parking lot entrance since the Arts Center is on the Southwest corner of West Trinity Place and Swanton Way/Electric Avenue. Parking lots may be found both behind and beside the Arts Center building.
